Crockpot Venison Chili Recipe


FREE CROCK POT RECIPE

1 pound ground venison
2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 bell peppers, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 to 3 cups water
2 (16-ounce) cans red kidney beans

1. Brown meat, onions, and garic in oil in an iron skillet.
2. Put into crock pot with all ingredients except beans.
3. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, adding beans in last hour.







Baked Duck Recipe with Orange Currant Sauce

Compliments of Froggy Bottom Cookbook

Clean ducks thoroughly. Put salt into duck cavity. Also, put 1/4 orange, apple and turnip into cavity. Place ducks in pan and cover with strips of bacon. Surround with celery, onions, and little water. Bake 3 hours. Start in hot oven 450 degrees and turn down to moderate 350 degrees.

Orange Currant Sauce

6 tablespoons currant jelly
3 tablespoons water
Grated rind of 1 orange

Combine the above and beat 3 minutes with rotary beater.

Add:
2 tablespoons port wine
2 tablespoons orange juice
dash red pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 tablespoon salt

Stir well. Serve room temperature.
